Luke's Italian Beef

This place has it all. Good service, lots of seating, great food, and great prices. I had the big ravioli with meat in meat sauce, and I know it’s looks plain, but it packs good flavor inside and out. I will definitely try another one of their homemade favorites the next time I’m in the area. If you like meat and ravioli, then get the big ravioli with meat in meat sauce. I took peeks at other people’s plates and they looked good as well. I didn’t notice anything throwing away their food before leaving. All clean plates.

Lukes by far is the best place to get a great selection of Chicago favorites. “Voted Best Beef in Chicago”. A must stop if near the Sears tower. This place is priced very fair with long time employees that are treated well by the owner. Please try Lukes a try today. It’s another Chicago gem.

One surprising thing about Luke’s is that our order was ready before we even sat down. It wasn’t very busy, but I have to say it because even then, it was surprisingly quick. The Chicago dog was great! I also got the beef sandwich with mozzarella and sweet peppers. You must get the cheese sauce side if you get the beef sandwich. I realized that half way through the sandwich. Warning: the beef made the bread soggy pretty quick. If soggy bread is not your jam then avoid that sandwich. It doesn’t bother me that much and I loved the sandwich.
