Luciano's Restaurant

I am writing this review for my mother who hosted my baby shower here on Sunday. From someone who worked in food service for many years she is extremely critical and can’t say enough good things about her experience here. She writes, “Everything was absolutely superb from the food, decor, and staff, to the attention to detail and communication. The atmosphere was clean, bright and beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with the amazing service we received. Stephanie, David, and Gus were fantastic. Gus was there to make sure I had everything I needed. Stephanie and David had excellent communication, were so pleasant to deal with and just fantastic. The food was some of the most amazing food for a fantastic value. All my guests raved about the food! There was so much food and something for everyone. It was all hot, fresh and delicious. The china, linens were beautiful. Prime rib was horrible no taste on it.I have ate in alot of restaurants but this was far the worst! Restaurant was empty now I know why.We ate when it was Maxwell Silvermans and the food was good .This by far was the worse food ever

The restaurant had 2 holiday parties (20 guests & 30 guests) and a few other patrons. The kitchen seemed to be overwhelmed. Food was okay. Steak ordered rare was served medium well. Calamari was over cooked and the rest of the seafood pasta dish was good but tepid. My companion and I agreed that the cakes we had for dessert were "thoroughly thawed". Server was new and busy. Maitre d' asked at the end of the meal how it was and was rather defensive when we told him. An okay experience.
