This is a Prix Fixe menu. The salad course had 6 choices I sampled mine and two others, all 3 were very good. The second course was spectacular, varied, many different choices, all three that I sampled were very good. The main course was disappointing, only 6 choices, 3 fish, salmon, sea bass & scallops. I had the sea bass, my wife the salmon, and both were sitting.on top of a sauce. I like fish, cook ot 3 nights a week, I like to taste my fish so I don' use a sauce, when I do it is on the side. Additionally I like whole fish, why not offer a whole Black Sea Bass, or a Farm raised Branzino? The third party had the steak which she said was very good, but why not offer more than 3 meat choices? Add a veal chop, a duck breast or confit, hangar steak, not just NY Strip etc...

I would have lunch at this restaurant for the rest of my life, food is 10 out of 10 and the vibe and uniqueness of the restaurant just makes everything better.

My friends took me here for my birthday a few months ago and wow, everything was so good!!! The portions were honestly perfect. Definitely one of my favorites as a Des Moines transplant.
