Dropped in for a late lunch with the Teen. We'd walked *quite* a bit-we were hot and HANGRY. We were greeted and seated by Ms. Mercedes. She was excellent, pleasant, made great suggestions, accommodated the Teen's custom request for the chicken parmigiana. Ms. M told us we could enjoy the atmosphere as long as we needed to. (We got the chicken salad croissant/tomato bisque and the Ghirardelli brownie to go. My parent LOVED it. The chicken salad tasted like the chicken had been grilled and the salad made right then-super fresh! The brownie was moist, rich, and luxurious.) The shrimp ravioli was seasoned well, creamy without being cloying. I didn't mean to eat it all but I did. I think that's going to be my regular Friday hangout. We ate there and took a whole meal to go. The Teen thoroughly enjoyed her beignets and iced coffee for dessert. Parking: Parking lot is small.
On a business trip to NOLA and decided to give this place a try...outstanding is all I can say. Excellent pizza! This is upscale pizza at a reasonable cost. The tirimusu was fantastic as well. Can't wait for my next trip down as I will be ordering again.
What a great lunch. I had a small spinach salad and Pasta Primavera with wheat pasta. Absolutely delicious. I've passed by this restaurant many times... Now I plan to go here more often.
