Great little tavern off the normal tourist routes & destinations. We were staying in an Airbnb close by & popped in a couple times during our week stay. Happy hour rum punch $3 ????????. Food was tasty & reasonably priced too. Try the Oysters if you are brave enough. Also the Muffaletta ( a new orleans staple) was delicious. Great service, nice atmosphere & a relief on the wallet from the normal tourist traps!

Probably one of my favorite places in the whole city for a bite to eat and grabbing a drink. The kitchen is open late and filled with high quality pub fair. The kitchen has no issue working around dietary restrictions, so don’t be afraid to ask for a modification! Their happy hour is awesome! They also provide a discount for service industry folks like myself! From all the bartenders, oyster shuckers, and people in the kitchen, you couldn’t ask for a more pleasant experience. Also, if you were a sports fan, this is your place to be for any and every game!!

Amazing selection of beer for any beer enthusiast! The bartender and young lady taking our food order were personable, at least. However, we really have never sat down at any restaurant in America and hated every single thing we ordered. We did not complain and exited promptly due to utter shock at how bad it was. We tried the fried oysters, spinach salad, Buffalo shrimp, truffle fries, Cole slaw, and potato salad. So, to be fair, we did branch out in our selection of food from the menu. I was truly shocked at how it's possible to combine so many ingredients in each dish and how over doing it results to be the worst flavor combinations feasible. The good news is that you can take it back to your own kitchen and fix it ???? I recommend culinary training and a revamp of the menu to "back to the basics" of correct acidic, sweet, and salty combination pairing (especially in the dressings and salad). What was correct was an impecable beer batter. Thanks!
