Both the cheesy bread and their thin crust pizza is awful. Spent over $40 and would rather have had a frozen Digornio pizza.
I'm in my sixties and have been going to Lou Malnati's since my first date with my future husband when I was in my early 20s so I know my Lou's. So what the heck happened to your flavor? I stopped by the Tinley Park store and bought a couple of pre-baked deep dish pizzas. And was extremely dissatisfied with everything about them; they were thin (had to check label to make I didn't make a mistake), they lacked flavor, and the quality was poor. Sorry but not planning on buying any of these again. Don't recommend them at all.
We have eaten the “Lou” from several different of the restaurant’s chain, for years, and enough pizzas to know what it is supposed to taste and look like. Tonight’s Lou (which we order almost weekly) finally pushed me to the point of a review. You never know what you’re going to get from here. Sometimes it’s over the top garlic, sometimes none. Today, none. Cheese so chewy today that I suspect it must be low fat, which we didn’t order. Crust is different with every pizza, sometimes thin, sometimes thick. The crushed tomatoes are never consistent either, so the pizza is often mushy. Almost forgot about the mushrooms, but they pretty much did too. I think it’s time to go back to Tinley Park. They make a better pizza than New Lenox.
