Los Patios Mexican Restaurant

What a great family run venue. Service is super and the food is great. Hard to get good Mexican food in the UK so this was a real treat, and great value for money too. Vegetarian options: The choice was not to bad.

Well, it does look nice and roomy on the inside. We were not greeted when we came in eventhough two ladies walked passed up as we stood. We did get a greeting from one of them if you can call it that. " one minute" is all we got. Finally the other of the two ladies came over and took us to the table. Clean place. Menu nice. Took some time to get order in. We are patient. But then when I got my food, I specifically asked for a change and it was even on the ticket but got my food and the special order was not honored. The food was okay. A tad bit on the bland side. Our sides were both lukewarm as well. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive at all, even when there were only three tables total left of people with 4 wait staff. I do not think I will be visiting this one again, but I can't give it a 1 star cause it does have some good qualities and the ability to change a few things and turn it around. Normally I don't try any place new but this place was calling to me. I came in wonderful atmosphere clean and friendly. The server London is the most wonderful and amazing person. He is the Pinnacle of what all servers should strive to be. Remembers your orders and is friendly and polite. He constantly checks in and makes you feel welcome and relaxed. The food was divine. My steak was perfect medium rare and the eggs were a fantastic over medium. The biscuits and gravy made me feel like I was back in the south enjoying southern home cooking. The onion rings were crunchy and tasty. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE!! I WILL BE BACK HERE VERY VERY SOON!!!
