Los Aribertos in West Haven is a must try. Based on the amount of people in line and waiting, there is a definite desire for a good Mexican restaurant in on this side of town. We ordered the Chimichanga Plate, the Al Pastor Burrito, Taco Salad, Lemon Chicken Quesadilla, and Chicken Fajita Burrito and all were delicious. The portions were large, so it was a good value and no one went hungry ???? The order was 5 items and waited about 25 min. This restaurant is brand new so the wait was longer than what one might usually expect and that is understandable. If you want fast food, you probably should go to Taco Bell instead We look forward to eating there again and updating this review as they get settled and more established.
Went opening weekend, ordered #1 Steak Fajitas and a Grilled Chicken Burrito w/ Guac. Service was great. The restaurant was clean. Large menu with lots of options, pretty standard Betos/Rancheritos affair. Steak Fajitas had a great spice kick to them. Large portions, and came with two massive flour tortillas. The grilled chicken burrito was also tasty, but very heavy on the sour cream. Guac seemed to be from a mix packet and was rather sad. The line and wait were long but that's what we expected for the opening weekend. Other customers need to exhibit a little bit of patience in realizing that it's opening weekend, every new restaurant has quirks and kinks they are trying to work through the first couple weeks. Have some patience. We're glad to have some good eats close to home. We'll be back!
Definitely enjoyed this more than Rancherito’s. Good portions and not as greasy. Seemed a bit more pricey though and there’s a $1 card charge, so be aware. Other than that, very tasty!
