How does a place turn away a family of 20 in town for a funeral? Amazing we call to make reservations for our family already going thru a difficult time and the lady on the other end tells us it could be up to an hour/-and half wait even after we have called at 2pm letting them know our arrival 6pm seating arrangement. Longhorn has always a family and friendly go to place here and Avon, that had never let us down. I even had written so many great food reviews in the past and to help things it's endorsed by AMEX platinum. However incident set us back during a hard time, cut the entire family. The action of 1 single person also hurt Longhorns reputation and took money away from servers/waitresses that work so hard. As a result of not being accommodating we placed a call to the Avon staple restaurant "OPA" and no issues. We got reservations there with ease. I will also say this isn't the first time we have had issue with the seating in past here at Longhorn. They have before said to us

This is the only sit down restaurant that we go to in Avon that is actually consistent with good food. All of the others are sub par at best.
