After exploring the arts district, I decided to take in the Lola Gaspar happy hour. The Sangria Blanco was refreshing, the avocado fritta tacos were 2-bite sized, and the star of my vegetarian adventure were the loaded with cheese and beans. Salsa would have been a nice compliment to the food as the tacos were a bit dry. My dining companion opted for the short rib taquitos -- which were reportedly the bomb.
Great Tapas place but centered on Mexican food. The food is tasty. It's not the cheapest place but the price is also not too outlandish. Many of the dishes are difficult to share so come with someone you don't mind sharing a single taco with. The atmosphere is nice with oil lamps in the evening. I would recommend stopping by. The staff is very nice and checks on the table as much as they can.
So delicious ???? everything on their menu is bomb ????. Drinks are refreshing ???? ???? This is the best carnitas torta I've ever had! Definitely try out when in town.
