Beautiful setting in Millcreek Canyon surrounded by the green trees and waterfalls. The food was good as well! The Alpine Nachos are one of the best nachos I’ve ever eaten. The portions are generous. I personally think you’re really paying for the views and ambiance more than the food. It was pricey but the service was amazing and we will definitely make a trip back for views alone!
Date night. I would hate to give it 4 stars. It was 4 1/2. The only thing that wasn’t stellar was the Risotto. The depth of flavor was slightly lacking. It could of used an extra note or 2 of spice/flavor. What made be take a 1/2 point though was the Risotto was salty for my palate and I love salt. The Alpine Nacho appetizer was the highlight for me and a must have. I live in Texas so I’m disappointed they’re not in my area. I would go back and just have that! My husband had the Grilled Pork Chop. It was amazing and had a beautiful array of wonderful flavors and textures. I had their non-alcoholic drink Pink Passion…ah-mazing! The hubby had the red wine that was made especially for Log Haven and he really enjoyed it. Our service from Cynthia was impeccable. The other staff seemed equally pleasant. The pianist was a nice touch. It was a great experience and would seem incredibly petty to take away from their ratings. I hate I didn’t notice the waterfall across the street unti
As an out of state visitor, the drive up the canyon to get to Log Haven was a fantastic start to the evening. Everything on the menu looked amazing and we had a hard time deciding but our server Rachel was very helpful with recommendations and wine pairings. We had the alpine nachos, elk, and NY strip. All were wonderful and we were too full for desert unfortunately. There was a wedding reception in the courtyard and we were even asked about our preference in timing for our entrees due to that group. Couldn’t ask for better.
