Local Cantina Water Street

The food is amazing! We tried 3 different types of tacos each. Our favorite were the carnitas ones. Everyone here was super friendly. The craft beer was so good!

Went in here after a Dragons game and to get out of the rain, and wasn’t sure what to expect. Was a little confused at first because the place is one where you seat yourself and get your own chips and salsa, but the signs only mentioned the second part. Luckily, the service was pretty quick overall, at least in my experience. Fish tacos were nice, though slightly more expensive than other tacos I’ve had recently. I’ve had fish tacos that ended up mushy so it was nice to see some that held up well. Not quite as good as some I had in San Diego, but certainly better than expected for Dayton. The place gets a 4 since it was generally good outside of that bit of confusion at the start, and the food was above average. I wouldn’t mind coming here again, though who knows when I’ll actually be close by. Don’t mind having another option for Mexican food around though.

Flies flies flies yeah! They’re gonna get you! And your food. We won’t be going back. The taco shells were stale, the service was meh, and there were flies everywhere. This was our second time trying it. We decided to give it another chance because, although our food wasn’t great, our server was super nice last year. This time, the food was worse and so was the service. The only good thing about this place is its nice location.
