We picked up our soldier at Ft Jackson and enjoyed lunch here. We were delighted by the buffet style... Everything was delicious. My son had two heaping platefuls and ate every bite. I especially loved the vinegar BBQ. Clearly a local favorite, we were glad we made the choice to try it out Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More
Was told this was the place to go for Carolina BBQ when in Columbia. I don't know much about what's considered "great" Carolina BBQ, only that I must try BBQ pork with the quintessential mustard based sauce. Wasn't disappointed at all with the quality of the meat and liked the down home vibe of the place filled with regulars. Will be back.
Exactly what I needed after a day on the road coming up the coast from NE Florida! Home-cooking does the soul some good! The variety of what was available blew me away.....pulled pork, fried chicken, BBQ'd chicken, sausage.....sides GALORE! And don't forget to leave room for that banana pudding!
