Little Ollie's

They have changed the menu. They removed my favorite roll anywhere. This used to be our spot. We loved it & went at least once a month. We raved about it to everyone. Last night was horrific. The roll was mushy, the soup dumplings dry and cold and the egg rolls were so greasy, they were dripping oil. We literally took one bite of everything & left the rest. We were both grossed out. The service was terrific or I would have given it one star. Beyond disappointed and will not return.

I think the restaurant overall was okay. I do not recommend getting the miso cod due to the value. My friend thought I ordered an appetizer because the portion was so small. It could not have been more than 3oz. It came with two small shishito peppers and one cherry tomato. Thank goodness I ordered a side of steamed veggies. Which just to note, the “steamed” veggies came with no seasoning AT ALL and were borderline raw. The Chinese donuts were excellent and didn’t take as long as I thought they were going to take since the waiter mentioned they may be awhile. The fizz drink was good.

Have been eating and ordering take out at Little Ollie's since it opened. Yesterday I was so excited to go and have the Shanghai Shrimp and Hot and Sour soup. The soup was great but the Shrimp was gooey with sauce and there was so much water at the bottom of the bowl, it was disgusting. I complained and the manager (via the waitress) said that is what happens when you steam broccoli. Well, it never happens to me at home. So sad to say I will probably not go back. Too many great restaurants in Denver to go to. Not sure why or how the photo I added to this review of the dish was deleted. I found it and readded it!
