I have been to this location many times and the staff is always so very friendly and attentive. The food was as usual, so very flavorful and the cinnamon tea is a staple for sure. The only downside to the trip was the VERY long wait for one dish while everyone had already gotten their meals and basically finished... The was a first so we didn't make a fuss. All in all this is a great place, with delicious food and they're rarley a packed house when we visit *If you want a drink to-go you just order it that way initially because otherwise you'll have to pay extra for a to-go drink* They are very thorough with their with the cleaning if their tables and floors, cleaning product kinda filled the air.
Moving back from Mississippi, we met some family friends here 6/17/22 party of 7 and 2 children. We waited a while for our breakfast. When we all got our plates everything looked delicious. But as soon as our friends that ordered beans they said they were really cold. But our server gave everyone who ordered beans a new bowl with hot hot beans. I ordered red menudo and it was slightly warm, but I still ate it. Coming from living Mississippi in for 4 years that don’t have the greatest Mexican food like Arizona does. My husband got a breakfast burrito, he had no complaint (it was nice and hot for him). Father day: my brother had went with his wife and 2 kids around lunch time. They always go to the Irvington location, that one of the male servers knows them, and he continues to serve them every time they go there. My brother never complains. He said he loves it there. That sometimes the girls the work there have attitude or they ain’t happy. So maybe me and my husband went on a bad mor
I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. Only issue was that the room we were sat in had a few other parties already present even though much of the restaurant was empty.
