Little Hawaiian

To start the place IS very clean and my server was very polite. The prices are high for the food but appropriate for the ambiance. Now “Little Hawaiian” is a very accurate name considering there is very little Hawaiian food on the menu. None of the signature dishes one expects from a Hawaiian restaurant. Nary a poke, loco moco, laulau, pasteles, poi anything, spam musubi (or spam anything for that matter) to be seen on the menu. The “ramen” noodles felt and tasted like spaghetti noodles. The broth was fine after adding soy sauce. Overall the soup was pretty bare bones. No egg, no seaweed, nothing that wasn’t explicitly stated on the menu which is traditionally included in ramen.

The food was good. I would eat there again if I was in the area. I do recommend this place.

Little Hawaiian restaurant is WOW! The pictures don’t do the food justice. The flavors and quality is gourmet. It’s like a fusion of Hawaiian and Asian cuisine. The flavors of each dish unique and a delight to eat. The Catfish bites are spicy, tender and the fish melts in your mouth. The chicken is juicy and soft. This is a gem in a small country town! The staff are kind and helpful. I would give 10 stars if I could.
