Really good food undercut by poor service. We had the half chicken with fried rice, yuca and plantains, as well as the Lima's fish. All of the food was delicious and service was pretty quick, but the staff was not friendly or helpful - I ended up waiting 5-10 minutes just to get some extra sauce. There's lots of seating, and it's quite a spacious restaurant. Overall, the service takes away from what otherwise would be a lovely experience.
My wife and I come here at least once a week and order a whole chicken between the two of us every time. Once or twice a little inconsistency with the chicken being a little drier than we like but when its on point it's super well seasoned and juicy to boot. Not a "service" -based place, get your chicken at the counter and go. Run by an immigrant family whose first language is not English, but they do their best. I'm a happy customer and getting a full meal of high nutritional value that tastes good for two at ~20 bucks give or take - I'm a super happy customer. Both their sauces are great.
Their chickens are taste good, but side dashes are below average. Staffs are friendly but dining area is always dark and dirty. I ended up take out their chickens only.
