I meet my sister for lunch. We decide on a halfway mark between Boston and New York. I stumbled across this gem on Google maps. I wasn't disappointed. The food is fantastic. The food was seasoned perfectly. The restaurant was super clean. The counter help was a little rough with no personality. The food and Sheila B the dining help was everything. The pork chops were so tender and seasoned with flavorful gravy. The mac and cheese was bomb ????, the honey-glazed chicken was delicious. I order almost everything on the menu. The cakes were delicious also. I'll take the 2-hour drive again really soon.

I got there around 12:30pm on Sunday,I felt like soul food, just to find out they don't start serving until 1pm but there was already a line so I figured the food was good, so I waited too everything looked so good, but I got my favorite fried Chicken, candy yams, dressing, and a side of collard greens and I topped it off with a piece of coconut pound cake, don't judge me I was hungry, the customer service was good, the girls were very nice the only thing that I can complain about is the price man I did not imagine spending 32$on that one meal but I guess to some people it's worth it! it was good I enjoyed the meal but to me, a woman who like to spend money wisely, it wasn't worth $32 that's a buffet price, that's what I spend at Golden corral every other weekend,well less than that,if money is not a issue for you,it's a good look,but if you're like me,and you like to see your money's worth,this place is not for you
