Leon's

We went to Leon’s for a Private event. The back patio has a great mix of indoor/outdoor feel. There’s a fireplace and grill outside. It was a great way to entertain and celebrate. We had some great food for our party of 44. The fried chicken was absolutely amazing. It was incredibly crispy and had a refreshing, spicy kick to it. The fried chicken was accompanied by a citrus salad, some pinto beans and a wonderful layered potato casserole dish. I would definitely recommend all the above. We had a large oyster bar outside and from what I overheard, the oysters were fresh and tasted great. There were some fried hush puppies which were crispy and delicious as well. The weather was mild, and provided a great atmosphere for the event. We had a great time and would recommend Leon’s again to host private events. The staff was great - accommodating and helpful the whole night.

Came here for an early dinner on a Tuesday with the family. Parking is a little confusing but luckily there were free street parking available right across the street. We were seated immediately with kid seats readily available. The mens bathroom was flashback to the past and unexpectedly clean. We ordered a couple cocktails which was delicious. My wife and I ordered char broiled oysters, scalloped potato, hush puppies, and four pieces of dark meat chicken wings. While our kids just shared a shrimp roll. The chicken was cooked perfectly, nice crisp skin and juicy meat—adding the spicy honey is a must! I wanted to dislike the scalloped potato but it was also great, flavor was tasty and the crisp too was delicious. My kids really enjoyed the shrimp roll, we’re glad we skipped on the kids menu. Im not really a fan of hush puppies but they’re well cooked here and they are served with this very tasty sweet butter that I kept wanting more of. The charbroiled oysters were also very tasty but

Everything we had for lunch was exactly what we were looking for. The chicken sandwich was very good for an oyster place, a great alternative for anyone not wanting oysters but friends who do. That said, the oysters were excellent, and done right. The thing I was most impressed with was the brussel sprouts. I have *never* liked brussel sprouts, however, I could eat these all day and will order them every time I go.
