Everything about this restaurant was amazing. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter was very nice. The food was fresh and delicious. Then we also had baklava and that was really good as well. Great atmosphere with really nice people.
Fresh, fast, and filling. What a great spot right off of 620. The baba ghanoush is delicious and the baklava is a must. We got the mixed plate of gyro and chicken which is easily split between two along with the dolmas and baba ghanoush. Maybe order an extra pita to share. It was all delicious and I look forward to returning again soon! Thank you.
Locally owned, this is the quality of food exemplary of the occasion to which Austin restaurants need to rise. This city isn't known for ethnic food, or enough of it, and Lazeez helps close that gap with wonderful Mediterranean. Now, I am taking a star off, but hopefully so helpful feedback reaches the owners... Maybe it's cultural or maybe it's how people act who work there, but they can be short, impatient seeking, and they aren't great about accommodating changes to the plates. I'm gluten free and always hope to get fries instead of the pita; my request is always met with a terse, that's how the plate comes. So, I understand ... Maybe that's how they want to run the place. But for what it's worth, be friendly, chatty, smile, and you can make minor accomodations. Okay, positive criticism aside, if you're looking for that great place to eat around Lake Travis, this should be on your list!
