Very friendly and helpful employees. Everything they sell has to be from frozen . Not from fresh, but Chicagoins Luv it. Not seasoned or has taste. Not sure why they like it. Now everything on the menu is A LA Carte.. one pound of shrimp is what I had $18 maybe 15 because it was the special. French fries were $4. Juice was $3. Each item came in its own brown paper bag. Ask for plates but no compartment to go trays anymore. The catfish we got was 2 pieces $20 looked like Jack fish or whiting. I was told it was good. The fish chips are ridiculous tasting and hard. Who knows what kind of fish is in them. Try for yourself but look at the menu online first at pricing. Not worth the money when there are fresh crab restaurants everywhere now with different seasonings.
I went there yesterday evening at about 7:30 pm and ordered a lb of lightly battered shrimp with French fries. When I got home and tried to eat the shrimps, I realized that I had been sold some shrimps that had probably been cooked earlier that day. The batter was hard and the shrimps were cold. The food tasted like it had been reheated.
Came in town, friends highly recommended. I’m so disappointed. Fish is so hard, the meat is dried and it has no taste as a result. Crab cakes were good. Shrimps were dry and cold. $40 down the drain.
