Laughing Planet

Oh, goodness, this place is a wonderful find! I'm travelling and have been eating mostly garbage and wanted something with some veg in it. Laughing Planet answered the need beautifully. Succulent roast, delicate but filling spinach and carrots, some sort of ginger-forward root salad and garlicky roasted potatoes. If you're looking for something unique and unabashedly celebratory of vegetables with a global twist give this place a try! They have GF and straight vegan options aplenty so you can bring a diverse group here and reasonably expect everyone to find something they like. Try a cookie for dessert, they are huge and delicious. Clean and hippy/70s Rock vibe to the space itself, friendly staff and plenty of room so you don't feel cramped. I'll be back for sure next time I'm in town.

This is one of my favorite places to eat vegan foods. They usually have a very interesting special going on and you can always ask for vegan substitutes if needed. I like the laid-back and creative atmosphere. This is the first review where I am including a photo of the unisex bathroom. I think I will do that more in the future since it kind of matters to some folks. At this restaurant you are expected to bus your own table and the drinks are self-serve. I enjoy that just fine. My go-to staple is the Tempe Royale with vegan cheese. At only $11.50, I can completely fill my belly for the rest of the afternoon. My wife and a friend both enjoyed a chomp on the burrito and agreed with me how very tasty it is.

Really enjoyed eating here. I ordered the Tempeh Royal burrito and it was delicious. Staff nice and the environment was chill. Would love to come back here when passing through Reno again:)
