The IPA FISH + CHIPS was delicious and perfectly cooked. The "MELISSA" topping was about half of what I remember it to be but still $10 ????????♀️ with a single scallop, but the sauce was outstanding. The salad was a strong win for me. I asked for extra tarter sauce but didn't get it...and again, that sauce was outstanding, really. Win some, lose some. I'll be back for the fish and salad. ????
Landry's was the highlight of our union station visit, the steak I had was by far the best I've ever had even the kids Alfredo my son had was incredibly delicious. The best part of the experience was the staff, our server Nikki V was wonderful. She made sure everything was perfect for us and our toddler, everyone with children knows a night out isn't easy but she did everything possible to make it great for us. Thank you so much, we hope to see you again soon.
On my visit to STL from the CHI, I visited Landry's Seafood located in Downtown St.Louis which is also located at The Union Station / The Wheel if your confused so was I but after a call and a few directions I made it right on time for my reservation. I was pleasantly surprised upon entry the atmosphere was a feel and cross of Joe's Crabshack & Red Lobster just to clarify the decor but definitely not the offerings. I started with a bowl of Landrys Gumbo which had an orange roux base with bits of celery, small shrimp, diced andouille sausage and whitefish. The flavor was mild and it was definitely not the "Gumbo" I am used too but it was a nice starter once I added a bit of salt and pepper ???? it was served with lightly toasted bread smeared with garlic butter and sliced where you could pull finger sized portions. To drink I kept it simple and had a mocktail called the Flavored Palmer that comes in either Peach or Blackberry and true my fashion I requested a mix of the two and the bar o
