Gals and Gents, You've a great family owned and run breakfast/lunch diner at Lake Villa Diner. Mike and his family provide a superb venue with that home cooking atmosphere. If you haven't ever eaten here, you are shorting yourself; if you are waiting for COVID 19 restrictions to be lifted, the restaurant is set up per current COVID 19 guidelines. Come out and enjoy your breakfast or lunch outing. And don't forget to take home some of Mike's tasty cinnamon buns. Takeout or eat in is your choice.
Absolutely delicious! Started with the French onion soup and cream of spinach both were fantastic. You could definietly tell they were homemade. The 30 mins we were there they sold 7 Reubens including one to my husband and it was one of the best hes ever had. I had the chicken salad sandwich. It was delicious.
As with so many trying to survive the economic turmoil, I considered my hash portion to be on small side but cooked perfectly. FYI for all- It is not home made. Service was excellent and quick. Facility was clean and organized. I will stop again. Food : 4/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 4/5 … More
