Galati's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

My family and I have been customers for years. Of course there has been a few small issues, errors happen everywhere but nothing big..until today. I ordered manicotti with alfredo instead of red sauce because of allergies. I was told there would be an upcharge, ok fine it is what it is. I was also told the soup or salad option with dinner is only salad, no soup.. another ok fine, it is what it is. The food arrived and looked great. In the middle of the first bite I realized it was insanely salty, not just slightly uncomfortable too salty but an instant this isn't right as if someone spilled an entire salt shaker in the food. I stopped chewing and spit it out. I mixed the sauce together thinking it just wasn't blended and took another baby bite but nope, as a last try I added more cheese hoping that would help balance it out but sadly it didn't help. Eventually the waitress came and I told her the food was incredibly salty and I was unable to eat it. I pointed to the full plate showing

Great Italian food and generous portions. We normally go to Maggiano's for Italian food but we gave Galati's a try since it was closer to home and it had high ratings. I can honestly say the ratings are well deserved. This is now my new go-to restaurant for some good comfort food!

Wow! I wish I had taken pictures, I ate the food too fast and forgot all about it! Lovely family atmosphere, we dined in and could see the carryout orders FLYING out the door! The wait for food was a little long, but the food was fresh, delicious, and affordable! Will be returning regularly and I suggest you do the same! Yumz
