Lahori Kabab Restaurant Harrisburg

The restaurant is located in Dauphin plaza shopping mall with many places to shop and eat. The interior was dated but had ample seating area. When we stopped by on a weekday for dinner, the place dead; we were the only ones there. The guy taking orders up front wasn’t very friendly and didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. They had two menus—paper and laminated. The laminated menus were pixelated and we could barely read the items and their description on it. The paper menu was clearer, but the prices on the menus didn’t match. When we asked the guy questions about the menu and what he recommended, he barely replied, and told us to get whatever we want. We felt like a burden coming to the restaurant. We ordered the mixed grill and lamb karahi. He asked us to pay up front, but we didn’t know how our 2 entrees came up to ~$40. According to their paper menu, mixed grill is $15 and lamb karahi is $14. When the food arrived, the mixed grill didn’t match the menu. It was all chicken items,

I live in the northern VA area and quite frequently travel to NJ /NY. I was a bit hesitant at first given the averag 3.8 review score but I stopped anyway on my way to NJ with my mom and brother- I am glad that I stopped. We ordered the mixed grill and was quite amazed by the taste and quality. Compared to places I have eaten in NJ and Northern Virginia, this place can stand out pretty well. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. I didn't expect such a good Pakistani place in Harrisburg. I highly recommend it to anyone living in that area or people passing through the city.

Dirty as hell! But the kabobs were AMAZING! I know - pretty in line with our culture haha. Guy is friendly and has been around for 10 years. Stop on your way to Hershey!
