This place does not let me down, it is so good, they have variety of dishes and amazing vibe. It's a low key spot and the waiters are all very nice and provided great customer service.
NEW OWNERS My family has been coming here for at least 20+ years... So sad the place is being depreciated by new management. The following are a few things that bugged me 1. I ordered the same breaded shrimp I always do, the shrimp is different and it usually comes with a baked potato, and I asked if I could get French fries with my order instead of the potato. When I got my order for take out, there were no french fries . 2. The shrimp I got was actually soggy, and when I took a bite , I realized these were not cleaned shrimp. The poop line was still in them. 3. The 7 mares soup my father got, was smaller and more expensive. 4. The breaded filete my mother got was also soggy. Sogginess had never been a problem before. When we called the woman over the phone basically said "My bad, I forgot to check your order" $46 for these 3 plates. Don't waste your money here. Sorry that you didn't get to try the food that the previous owners served. I feel so sad I can't even finish the shrimp bec
We had the Molcajete a la Mexicana. Comes with usual stuff grilled beef, chicken, chorizo, nopales, cheese and half soaked in a red salsa.. All the meats are arranged around the molcajete and served pipping hot, it was very well seasoned. Plenty of food for 2 people to share, we did between 3 and still brought some home. We also had the shrimp tacos, they are lightly breaded and fried served with shredded cabbage and a yummy creamy chipotle sauce. It's a small spot in East Los Angeles, close to Boyle Heights. They offer out door seating due to covid, but there's only 2 small tables out there. They will be able to accommodate more people when this is all over. They also offer take out. No parking lot, street parking on.
