La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant

La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant was decent overall. I ordered a steak and it was a little overcooked for my taste, even though I had asked for it to be cooked medium. The fajitas had good flavor, however. The service was questionable - I was served a beer instead of the cocktail I had ordered, and when our table became full I asked a busboy cleaning a table behind me to take away a plate, but he refused. I could understand if their hands were full, but they had a cart for dishes. The cocktails were decent, but they were overpriced for the quality. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant during peak times, as they don't seem to have enough servers.

False advertisement is all I can say and these people could care less about their patrons. Customers mean nothing clearly. We walked in and asked about the Specials and the server, xochilt, said there was no specials for the weekend. I said we'll your sign at the front(attached) said you had specials Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and she said "oh it does? Let me ask my manager." About 10 minutes later she said "yea my manager said no specials today". I said even with your sign CURRENTLY in the front saying 6.99 Herradura shots? She said yea. I proceeded to go take a picture of the sign for false advertisement. No one wanted to honor their specials. The drinks we did order also took 40 minutes for one drink. They said they had one bartender. I'm fine with being patient but lying to your customers and having false advertisement is offensive. I had a group of 8 people with us and we all wanted to have a good time. We ended up at Taqueria tsunami and they actually upheld the drink special

Service was quick and efficient. We got the chimichanga meal and tortas meal for a reasonable price. 32oz strawberry mango frozen margarita was $17 but worth it. Wasn’t as strong as I’d have liked, but it tasted good.
