My wife and I have been patrons of this place for years, even through Covid!(To go orders) Always at lunch time. Great service at lunch-quick in and out. So we started going at couple times at night with friends. Both times service was horrible. Food is good but they are really struggling with wait staff on the weekends. Drinks take forever to get and food comes out 45-60 mins after we arrive turning a simple dinner into a long event. Once again good food at lunch and dinner but they need some training/help at dinner time.
Chips were crispy, thin, warm and fresh, 5 stars Salsa was flavorful, 4 stars Lunch special: Rice good, crispy bits here and there (nice), 4 stars Bean burrito basic but good, 3.5 stars Cheese enchilada, mediocre, 3 stars I feel like many restaurants get cheese enchiladas wrong. The thing is this: a cheese enchilada isn't really about the cheese. Like any enchilada, it's about the sauce. Don't give me too much cheese, give me a small to moderate amount that won't throw me into cardiac arrest, and give me lots of deep, dark, rich, complex sauce. That's how to do a cheese enchilada right. Service was warm, friendly, and SUPER fast, wow! 5 stars all the way - Sandra, you're the best. Ambience was nice, in line with expectations.
We have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. The food is always great and the service is too. I think they have the best brisket chimichangas in town!
