Mexican restaurant in milpitas with generous portion sizes. The price is high but if you can make it 2 meals then it's worth it in my opinion. Carne asada chimichanga ⭐️⭐️⭐️: the carne asada inside was alright and the outside wasn't as crispy as I'd like. Personally I like my carne asada to have a light char or crust on the edges for some texture. That being said the portion size of this was ridiculous and was 2 meals for me. The beans were actually pretty delicious. I'll probably try something else next time Chips and salsa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: classic pico de gallo and red salsa. Personally really loved the red salsa as it was different from a lot that I've tried before. Got a medium heat to hit with a slight hint of sweetness I've never tasted in it.
Lunch time on a Thursday. Quick service. Salsa and chips right as we sat down. Salsa is a house recipe and amazing. Ordered a chicken Burrito with refired beans and rice which was stuffed with chicken. Highly recommend going if you like Mexican food.
This is a family tan restaurant that has been here for decades. Nothing fancy on the inside, but feels homey and familiar. The food has large portions and great flavor. We got take out the last time and they aren’t shy about packing plenty of salsas and chips and portions were great. I had the fajitas which were very yummy. We also got lobster nachos. I think they might be a bit better tableside instead of takeout, but nevertheless they were good. They gave an entire container of guacamole - like a large one! The tortilla soup was also good although I prefer to have the chips on the side and not soggy in the soup for takeout. Still ate it tho haha.
