Holy Moly! This place is so amazing! Every dish is both nostalgic and unexpected and delicious! The portions will leave you happy and full! We got fried rice, chicken satay, avocado salad and lavender lemonades! Cha, the owner, is so wonderful and sweet!
Updated review: ordered in person today for dinner and the food was amazing! Generous portion as well. The mango sticky rice dessert is unique, very different from other Thai/Lao restaurants. I really like it! Can’t wait to try more dishes. I notice their hours can be different from what it says on Google Maps or on their online ordering site (like closing early or closing on holidays), so check their IG for updates and generally I think ordering in person would be the best bet. Previous review: Order canceled with no explanation. I tried to call them and no one picks up. I ordered on their website for pick up on the day that they’re open. I hope my card won’t get charged for this…
I wish I could rate them better. The server was nice, she made sure to let me know that the tofu was in fact tofu and not chicken. I really appreciated that assurance because it did look like chicken. But, to my disappointment, I don't love the tough type of tofu that they served. Along with that, I think I just ordered the wrong thing. The pictures of their food look so good, but I got noodles and they were a bit disappointing. Drowning in a sweet sauce, and not many vegetables and the too-tough tofu. Big portions. They do good marketing! But I just wish the the food was better.
