Easy to pop in and grab a sandwich with fresh, tasty veggies. Rolls/buns are phenomenal. And the value is definitely there (which is becoming harder and harder to find.)
We stumbled upon Grand Central Bakery while staying at an AirBnB in Sellwood and we loved the food there so much we went to another location in Hillsboro on our road trip back. We had sausage biscuit and turkey chutney sandwich and both were succulent. The scone was especially moist and buttery and we cannot get enough of it. Wish they would expand to the Bay Area.
Lovely bakery! The window is full of bread each morning and down to a few scant loaves by afternoon, which I think speaks for itself. The seasonal fruit Danish was a delight!
