Amazing food! Ordered too much, each plate has alot of food.
It was clean and good service. The food was delicious. However the air conditioning was not working and the ceiling fans couldn't keep it cool enough. We were perspiring near the end of the meal. We would definitely eat there again when the air conditioning is repaired.
For me personally this is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in McAllen. Everything they serve tastes fresh and delicious. The wait staff are always helpful and nice. The Caldo de Res ( Beef Soup ) is superb but my favorite dish here is Carne Guisada. They alsi have great lunch specials.. NOTE: It's restaurant a bit hidden but just find the Fire Station on Dove Avenue and North 23rd and it's right behind the Station. This place is well worth checking out.
