La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

We were seated and given menus. The waiter came back every minute to ask if we were ready to order yet. The food, once ordered, was delicious. The mole sauce was very nice but less spicy than I'm used to. Nothing special about the rice. Soft drink refills came with more and more ice until we asked to bring a new glass with much less ice. The price was higher than we typically pay at good Mexican restaurants. And when I visited the restroom, the floor was mostly wet with pools of urine. When I went to flush, the handle nearly came out of the wall.

What happened? I lived here for years and always enjoyed your food . I've been gone a year and when I got yesterday, I was looking forward to eating there again. That all changed with today's takeout order oh Chile Colorado . There was more fat than meat, it was exceptionally spicy but without flavor, the tortillas were missing, the chips were stale, ithe top of the salsa was not put on and it spilled all in the bag. What happened to the place I used to love to eat at?

Me and my wife were in Charleston for a business convention...we're from upstate NY.. the service and food was excellent..best Mexican food we've had in years..will defiantly be coming back...its worth the 600mile drive....thanks again LA Hacienda ????
