La Botana Tex Mex Restaurant

Service could definitely be better. Last time I went in there there were people at booths and tables looking quite confused because the 6 all females waitresses they had were sitting at one table conversing with each other and looking at the tables like they could not decide who was going to wait on who. It was quite confusing but traffic had already started to back up so I was stuck there. The food is delicious!! Loved every bit of it, deserves a 5 but the service was terrible. I had to get my own napkins because my waitress disappeared. I had to ask for ice 3 times before getting a refill which did not include more ice. I was sitting on the patio eating and drinking. it was about 88 degrees more ice would have been warranted. I would expect that kind of service on a Saturday when they are swamped. Not on a Tuesday when you could count on one hand the amount of tables that were seated. I digress... it is in a great location, so they keep 3 stars.

Whether it’s the beef burrito, the shrimp fajita, the amazing Baja fish taco, or the grill with steak, shrimp, and chicken and fajita vegetables on a bed of rice, pictured, it is ALWAYS accommodated with amazing service at this family friendly restaurant!!!

One of my favorite local Mexican restaurants. Whenever I’m in the area, I go in for lunch or order take out. I was in Cancun and didn’t enjoy my food, as soon as I got back I had to visit my place. Can you tell by the picture I enjoyed my food?!
