Kyoto Japanese Restaurant

This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it! Very good atmosphere, nice ambient music and comfortable interiors. Food was outstanding! I ordered spicy dinner entree for $26 that comes with miso soup and salad. Everything was so fresh and very tasty! The salad dressing was just something unbelievable and I had to hold myself from drinking and slurping it all! Very welcoming personnel and very good service. This is my new favorite Japanese restaurant for sure. I’m coming back to try hibachi!

Nothing was amazing to rave about. The hibachi experience was certainly underwhelming. Expected much more action from the chef. Except for one big fire, nothing fancy. Have certainly seen much better. Food was very ordinary. Sushi was usual. They have a printed photo of the family on the end which was a nice touch Vegetarian options: Fried rice and veggies on hibachi. Would have been nice to do some tofu. Parking: Sufficient parking around the area

Sad to say I’m not coming back here. The food was amazing, but the service from the waiter was awful, which makes me think it was his last day and probably mixed a laxative with the drink. I know it wasn’t food poisoning because it was cooked in front of us, I brought leftovers home and ate them without any problem. Me and my girlfriend almost didn’t make it home without an accident in the car. After We called to speak with a manager, they just said “I’m sorry” and ended the call, no offer to see if someone had quit recently or even a follow up to investigate if there were other reports. The bill was $130.00 as a birthday present to me and it’s very disappointing that as a customer I’m expected to just “get what i paid for”, which was: “Not letting my stomach process the food and let it all out 20 minutes later”.
