This was my first time trying Kuba Kuba. It wasn’t what I was expecting, but I wasn’t disappointed. It was difficult deciding what we wanted and the fish delivery had not arrived so some things weren’t available. Overall I am pleased, but not sure if I would return. What I will say is they had a steady amount of people stopping by so I know they are enjoyed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food came out in a timely manner. Daily specials posted. I have nothing bad to say about my experience.
As you can see from the pictures (3 separate occasions pictured) I really like the Pesto Tomato jack melt and would highly recommend it. But this place is a go to for no matter what if you haven't been. If you miss this place on your visit to Richmond then you missed a little jewel of Richmond indeed. So come here and eat your heart or seafood paella out. And get some cornbread and fresh squeezed lemon or limeade! Can't go wrong here, plus the layout and decor is great! The restaurant is definitely popular. The food feels very fresh and lightly spiced in a good way. The portions are generous, my paella is huge indeed.
