Kreyol Kafe & Bakery

I ordered takeout from the restaurant 11/7 and ordered legume. When I got home, everything tasted sour including the saus pois. They tried masking the smell by putting onions and peppers on top of it. It was a waste of money and I was also disappointed. This is my second time going to the restaurant and my first experience was bad as well. Please go at your own risk!

IT TOOK 2 HOURS TO GET MY FOOD. The customer Service is always bad but today it was especially terrible. I called four times over 30 minutes and no one answered, so I drove 10 minutes and ordered my food. I asked about the phone and it was working fine, i called it to check. After ordering in person I came back after 20 minutes and my food order was not put in it so I had to wait another 20 minutes for the food. No apology, no show of remorse, customer service is nonexistent I will not be coming back. I’m very sure, I live a few minutes away and have been coming here since it opened around 2016 and Nadej and her son used to run the place. I spoke to the young lady at the front, you can ask her.

I didn’t walk, I RAN to write a review for Kreyol Kafe! My only experience with Haitian food has been either homemade, made with lots of love or at chef creole in Miami. So I had high expectations. The griot plate I ordered was not only filled to the rim but was PERFECTLY cooked and fresh. The owner greeted me with the biggest warm smile when I walked in and was so sweet and attentive. If you keep looking for a good Haitian spot, look no further. This is it. ????
