We recently went to Koi after about six months (we moved out of Evanston). Everything we had was fantastic. We shared three different appetizers and really enjoyed our entrees. I love the wine selection and my friendly enjoyed their cocktails. We had a nice table by the front with open windows. Our server was very attentive and the manager, Kyle made us feel like special guests. We can’t wait to go back!
The food was all really tasty and I had a nice time with my family. Small complaint, the fortunes inside the fortune cookies were just advertisements for personal wipes targeted at men. Like they all said things like life's messes will be cleaned up soon. But then on the back it had the company name and the Amazon logo. I would definitely go back to this red restaurant again, but does my fortune cookie have to be used as advertisement space?
I had sashimi starter and California maki, my husband had yellow curry. All food was ok. The problem was that we waited for our food over 40 minutes.
