Perfect atmosphere for an upscale dinner vibe with good food, drinks, & music! Red snapper is a must try! Crab beignets & Buffalo chicken egg rolls were delicious. Would have rated 5 stars on food but the collard greens & spinach dip were lacking flavor. Overall, they nailed the experience especially for celebrating a birthday!
We were invited to a birthday party for one of my BEST friends. Her nephew Carey is a partner at Kiss Restaurant. He provided a private, beautifully decorated room and a special menu with a variety of their specialties. The wait staff came in and sang “Happy Birthday” to her with lighted sparklers and a HBD marquee. So nice!!! The atmosphere is a vibe and the place was full. I Loved the music and found myself dancing in the isle by our table and it was acceptable. There is a dress code which I appreciated. You cannot go in there looking any kind of way. No flip flops, tank tops or shorts. The food was delish and artistically decorated on the plates. I asked how was the cornbread and Carey gave me a piece (which was HUGE) and tasted like cake with a glaze over it. OMG! The lamb chops were tender with a light char to them. We were served carrot cake and cheesecake and champagne to toast the birthday girl. It was a unique experience. Outside is a KISS sign where so many people were takin
The atmosphere is nice, however, they do not adhere to their dress code. It says business casual, people had on shorts, tennis shoes, ripped jeans and crop tops. You make a reservation and use your card to hold it, but they don’t have it on file. They don’t allow you to split checks. Now let’s get to the food. It was subpar. I had the greens, chicken and waffles, the chicken had little to no seasoning, they put syrup ON my waffles and the greens were not tasty at at!!! I didn’t even finish my food. The jerk lamb was too spicy. The drinks were on point. The waitstaff was okay, I guess she figured she didn’t have to do much since her gratuity was already calculated into the bill. They make it seem as if they are so booked but it were SEVERAL empty tables around us. Will not be going there again.
