Kim's Uncle Pizza

Hands down the best pizza I've had in the western suburbs. Kims uncle has mastered the Chicago tavern pizza and their halal Pepperoni makes it open for Muslims as well. I enjoyed the fresh giardinera which added a nice acidic crunch to the hot melty cheese and cracker crust.

Some damn good pizza. My second time eating here and I can confirm it was as delicious as the first time. I love a place that stays consistent and is reliable as well as tasty. My in-laws live in Westmont and with little options for a good pie in Berwyn, my wife and I make the drive for good eats. Our tradition with Kim’s Uncle is eating in the car on the ride home. It helps to ensure we get to experience the crisp the way it’s intended. That being said, I think this is a pie meant to be eaten immediately. I wish it was a touch hotter, that’s just a personal preference and maybe that’s just a timing thing. We tried to be there right when we were told the order would be ready. Overall, make the drive to eat this pie.

I’ve ordered from here twice now. This is truly some of the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is fantasticly thin. The sauce has a nice, but light, zing. The sausage is out of this world.
