Love the atmosphere and the decorations. The food is authentic. The service is very good. I like that they served everything at one time. I will definitely go back if we visit Pittsburgh again. Highly Recommend!
The soups are marvelous! The flavors stewed together with the chick peas, a hint of mint, the rich beef broth, homemade noodles; perfectly paired with the warm , Sesame Uzbek bread -absolute perfection! I highly recommend the Ugra and Mastava Soups ???? ???????? ???? The Nuhot Shurak melted in your mouth and I added a little heat with a dollop of the homemade Uzbek Chili Garlic Sauce. A must go to restaurant in Pittsburgh, the best kept secret in Culinary Cuisine in the Burgh .. Everthing homemade , everything made with precise pairing of spices . Fantastic Food ..???????????????? Vegetarian options: The variety of vegetarian options are wonderful , the Plov, the Split Pea soup ..
I used to order the Uzbek plov years ago, but recently ordered again this past Sunday. I got an order of the handmade beef manti for the first time and really loved them! They remind me of soup dumplings and the sauce they come with is also lovely. I also tried the chicken soup with their fresh bread. Very satisfying. Would totally recommend Kavsar!
