Kalaveras

Came with a party of four. The food was great but the service was atrocious. When we we're seated in a very chilly spot, we asked our hostess to seat us at a table not far away. She said sure, as soon as it's clean. As soon as the table was cleaned it was given away to another party. Great start to the evening. Our server couldn't be bothered to have our appetizers come out first, so we had every plate come out at the same time and had to choose between cold appetizers or cold entrees. The busboy took our plates quite literally as soon as we took our last bites. I appreciate the proactiveness but dang let me finish my food in peace. The worst part, our bill. Our bill was switched with another table's. We paid the bill we were given and proceeded to finish our drinks. About 15 minutes later, they caught the issue and rather than let it go ($40 difference) and came to our table in a very confrontational way and demanded we pay the correct bill. We had tacos, probably not the dish to get. They were okay. Service was great.

This place was amazing. Great vibe all around. The environment, decor, food, music, and drinks = Wowzers, I was impressed. But the most impressive part, the staff. Such as our server Sergio (good guy!), and Evelyn (her energy is infectious. We loved her!). This day was especially special for us as it was my lady's birthday 9/9/2022. Thank you so much Kalaveras. I can't wait to visit again.
