Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

The ambiance and employees were great. I didn’t Enjoy my food at all. I sent My food back the 1st time for being cold and the second time for not tasting good after heating. The third time i decided To take a to go box and end the experience. The food was literally drenched in sauce which isn’t normal for hibachi. I wanted more for this place because the atmosphere is cute but the food didn’t deliver ???? also i had two meals the manager admitted to not looking appetizing but only took one meal off . He wash pleasant but I’m still not happy. ???????? a joke it is.

The food was absolutely delicious. They give you so much food for what you pay in my opinion. We took trays of food togo. Everything was cooked perfect and seasoned well. Just like most habachi grills, they seat you with up to 5+ others at each grill but our experience with our dinner quest was very nice. We met a very nice couple who were also out for a lunch date. The chef makes the experience fun with their happy and bubbly style of cooking. Tossing shrimp through the air... onion choo-choo trains... and big fires that really warm things up, lol. We will definitely be returning. Our bill for 2 double combos, sushi, 2 drinks and gratuity, ran about $100 easy but we'll worth the treat. Follow more reviews @IG: Robthefoodguy @eat_n_critique

I have to admit, expectations were low due to previous reviews. But I’m glad we took a chance and tried it out! Our hostess asked about food allergies up front & as I have one that keeps me from eating out a lot, I was grateful for the attention paid to keep me safe. Our chef checked at every step along the way to make sure what I was getting was safe for me. The food was well prepared, huge portions, and tasty. Our chef was entertaining & our server was attentive, so our plates & drinks were always full. And so were we by the time we left! We will definitely be back! My only “complaint” was that the 18% tip was based on the final price of our meal - and I had a birthday coupon. Our hostess, server & chef deserved more, so we were able to write in more. But that 18% should be on the full value of the meal, not what we were charged.
