We hadn't been there in a while, and boy were we pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent, and, of course the margarita was a nice touch. We don't live in that neighborhood, but it's not a big drive; so now that our memories are refreshed we will make this a regular stop.
Service was friendly but slow. Came in around dinner time so that's more than understandable. The food wasn't anything remarkable but it wasn't bad either. I don't plan on coming back especially since what I paid in total definitely didn't match the quality of food that I received. The rice was a little bland and most definitely could've used more seasoning. The fajita taco was the same as the rice but the portion of it was bigger than your normal taco. The beans were good along with the enchilada. I did also order an a la carte chicken quedsdilla and that was good. Again not bad but not great. My 3 star rating comes primarily from the friendly service and the really good strawberry margarita I had. If I were to rate the food on its own I'd say a star and a half.
Had breakfast (huevos rancheros) everything was really good. The only thing missing was homemade flour tortillas.
