Judge Bean's BBQ

Fantastic food and quick service. Will definitely return. Noticed the website menu prices do not match the actual price on menu or check. The only hiccup we had was with the check. We left a $20 bill to go towards the total amount then the rest on the card. However, the server kept it as a tip (47% tip). Noticed it was not deducted from the check and had corrected. Still tipped 20% but that was a bit off putting. Update: Everything from the ribs, to pulled pork sandwich, to the jambalaya is delicious. Great flavor.

Mmmm...BBQ. Never heard of this place and thought I'd try it. Got a 2 meat plate and tamales. Odd combo for a BBQ joint. The 2 meat plate was so dry and tough it had to be two days old. The tamales were the worst I've ever had. Definitely microwave, and definitely 3 weeks old. Tossed it straight in the trash. Fried okra was decent.

Service was immediately not welcoming. We went around 2pm so maybe there was a big rush over lunch but it didn’t seem like they wanted our business. The hostess/waitress was our only experience and will not go back because of it. Food was decent but being from Texas, it wasn’t a great representation of Texas Hospitality or Texas BBQ.
