First time visit.. we ordered a chicken salad, cottage cheese, and coleslaw platter. It was excellent! The chicken salad had cranberries and nuts on a bed of lettuce. It was excellent! Attentive friendly service. First time visit, I will return.

Probably the most disappointing and unappetizing restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We went for a late breakfast. I ordered poached eggs and an English muffin. Pretty simple, or so one would assume. The eggs were hard boiled and ice cold. They had obviously been cooked earlier in a large batch, and left sitting too long. They were served 7 minutes before the muffin, which was barely browned, hard, and also ice cold. I returned the order and had it removed from the bill. My daughter ordered a grilled cheese and fries. What she got was a couple slices of cheese slapped between 2 slices of bread, which were slathered with grease and thrown on the griddle just long enough for the grease to become runny. The bread never browned and the cheese never even warmed to room temperature, never mind actually melting. The fries were wilted and cold. Disgusting. The restaurant was less than half full, go figure, and was clearly understaffed. The owner made the mistake of asking how everything was

It's a really great hole in the wall place. Kids really love the pancakes as they actually didn't talk at all while they ate, and for 4 kids that always bicker and fight it was a blessing. Their burgers are actually pretty decent also, had the Jojo which has avocado which is pretty good. The waitress also stated that during the month of July kids meals are buy one get one half off! The bacon is good, and so is the breakfast sausages. The fries are crispy without being way overdone! Overall if we are ever in the area and the original place we were going to go to is closed again, we will definitely stop at this establishment again. Kid-friendliness: They are very accommodating with kids, have crayons and papers to draw and do activities on. And during July kids meals are buy one get one half off
