Jalisco Mexican Food

Henry and his family have been serving the most delicious food since I started going to them in the 70's! Followed them to each new location and its still the best Mexican restaurant i know of! They serve fresh original food and thier salsa is to die for! Have never had any dish that wasn't wonderful! Highly recommend them! 3 stars for very Nice customer service. Ok quesadilla plate... so much cheese in what seemed to be a homemade tortilla. The Taco salad was ok but would have been better with beans in it. For almost 16 bucks, it should have had beans in it! Chile Verde for almost $19 was overpriced and the meat did not taste good at all. It was big chucks of meat that tasted "gamey". Got a different plate of what should have been a chicken enchilada but it tasted more like chicken and mole. All together the 3 of us felt it was a little overpriced for $60+ dollars and no refund for the bad chile verde. Got a lesser priced plate in return. The refried beans were yum. The rice on our plates was mushy and overcooked. We did not eat too much of it. This restaurant was rated like a 4+ star on yelp and google... it was our first time and we didn't feel that rating ...wanted to give only 2 stars for the food (sadly the pictures look better than the food actually was)...but like I said, the cashier man and the

Decent spot for some Mexican food.... Servings are huge.... Come with a appetite... I ordered 2 item plate.. a cheese enchilada and a beef taco... I'm not a fan of the salad that comes with it.... Next time I'll make sure to tell them to leave it out... The food was good and very hot... So let it cool off before you drive in.
