Interstellar

We came to Interstellar for breakfast on the Fourth of July the food and service was definitely on point. We asked for recommendations and we were told the Avocado Toast and Shashuka were very popular and worth getting. We were very happy with our choices which were beyond amazing. The food came out warm and delicious and we were very pleased with Interstellar.

We had to wait 15 minutes for a table for 3 and it’s worth it. Had the Shakshuka and it’s spicy and more flavor than the original middle eastern version. The fruits waffles was great and very soft. We’ve come here a few times now. Gets better every time! Such a cute little spot that pays attention to where they source their food (locally & sustainably) and also pay attention to quality. And it’s SO good! They make my iced matcha just right, and this time around I had the waffle with fresh local berries (that were SO sweet) and the jam was everything & more. The waffle was made with almond flower and was so light and fluffy. Usually I can’t eat a whole waffle/ pancake/sweet breakfast dish but I ate the entire thing and did not feel guilty. My boyfriend got the chipotle chicken bowl. And holy moly—so tender, the flavors were unreal & I found myself picking from his plate even after finishing mine (lol). It’s pricy but worth it. I’d love to see more info about their sustainable sourcing on their website and menu & overall food waste management, sustainability in general. It’s super important!
