Due to the restaurants popularity, there is a wait. I can guarantee the Blue Plate Taco is worth the wait. You will be provided with freshly made salsa (bottomless) and warm nachos! The fajitas come with a lot of vegetables, great for sharing! Fish Tacos are a customer favourite, recommend anyone to try them!
The fish tacos are sooo delicious. The serving size was enough to feed two people. There are street parking. We had sat outside with amazing view of Santa Monica Beach. We came to Blue Plate Taco for lunch in the late afternoon. It was pretty busy but we still got a nice outdoor table with a good view of the street, the pier, and the beach area. All of the staff was very friendly to interact with. We ordered the shrimp tacos and the baja style fish tacos, both of which we chose to come with rice and slaw. I also ordered a pineapple agua fresca. Everything was really delicious and really hit the spot after a day of walking around. The tacos especially were very tasty.
